An alkaline state increases vitality, keeps the body healthy, and increases life expectancy to a significant degree. It helps to lose weight, lower blood pressure, destroy cancer cells, prevent cardiovascular disease, soothe arthritis, and feel younger and stronger.

Foods that make our body acidic include white flour, meat, eggs, fish, dairy, coffee, alcohol, sugar, fries. Sweeteners, drugs and environmental toxins also cause acidity, such as stress, anger, and toxic emotions.

Avocado
Creamy and delicious avocados have a pH of 8.0 which not only makes our whole body alkaline but also helps in neutralizing other acidic foods in our stomach. You can add them to your salads or eat them cut in half with salt and pepper.

Ripe bananas
Most of us make the mistake of eating bananas when they are still unripe, which can lead to constipation and poor nutrient absorption. Ripe bananas have spots on their skin and are easily peeled which means that they are ready to be consumed and give us a lot of vitamins, minerals and a lot of alkalinity.

Almonds
Most nuts are acidic, but almonds and their extract are amazing sources of health, vitality, and alkalinity. They assist in lowering cholesterol, improve brain function and digestion, and create a perfectly balanced alkalinity in the body.

Asparagus
Known as the strongest alkaline food in nature, asparagus also provides us with plenty of fibre, water, vitamins, minerals, and anti-aging antioxidants. Its pH is 8.5 making it an amazing addition to any meal.

Watermelon
Watermelon has a pH of 9.0 and is rich in vitamins, minerals, and water for electrolyte balance. Its high fibre content reduces toxins and makes it an amazing choice for a strong dose of alkalinity.

Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne is an antibacterial spice that has a pH of 8.5, helps blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, neutralizes toxins, and enhances brain function

Papaya
It is known for helping digestion and for its soothing effects on digestive disorders. This is due to tits highly nutritious alkaline flesh, which is rich in fibre, water, vitamins, and minerals.

Lemon Tree
Lemons can have a strongly acidic taste but through the digestive tract they are metabolized into extremely alkaline substances, which benefit the whole body. In fact, lemons are an excellent source of alkalinity which makes it a great idea to add a few lemon slices or a little lemon juice to our glass of water.

Broccoli
This cruciferous vegetable is an exceptionally good alkaline food. It provides a wealth of fibre and nutrients that enhance our health.

Garlic
Garlic, in addition to adding extra flavour in our dishes, helps in neutralizing acidic foods such as meat, fish, cheese and eggs. In combination with green vegetables, it offers a strong combination of fibre, nutrients and alkalinity.
